2026 Release: Songs Of My Heart Series In 2026, James is releasing his highly anticipated Songs Of My Heart music and companion Bible Study Series.
The first album, “Are You Ready?”, along with the title single, launched on June 6, 2026. The full project, featuring 9 powerful songs including “Have Your Way,” “Chosen Child,” “The Father’s Reply,” “Rugged Cross,” and “I Just Had to Let You Know (The King Is Coming Soon),” rolled out through late June and early July 2026.

Week 1: The Cross = Suffering and Shame Opening Prayer Lord Jesus, thank You for the old rugged cross. Thank You for willingly suffering and dying in our place. Help us to cherish the cross, understand its power, and live in light of what You did there. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Introduction (8–10 minutes) Play the song “Rugged Cross”. Read or sing the lyrics slowly and reverently, especially Verse 1, Chorus, and Bridge. Key Idea: The cross was ugly, shameful, and painful — yet it became the most beautiful thing in history because of what Jesus accomplished there.
Key Verse to Memorize “But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Galatians 6:14 NKJV)
Core Teaching • Hebrews 12:2 – “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
• Isaiah 53:3-5 – (Write this passage out yourself. Taking time to write Scripture helps us slow down and meditate on its meaning.)
