“The Feet Of Jesus”
4-Week Course – Total Surrender
Introduction/ Description
Welcome to “The Feet Of Jesus” — a 4-week journey into the heart of total surrender.
In a world that constantly pulls us in every direction, Jesus still invites us to the same place where countless lives were changed in the Gospels: at His feet. This is the safest, most powerful, and most intimate place in the universe. It is here that fears are silenced, shame is lifted, pride is humbled, pain is healed, and we are made whole.
This study is built around the song “The Feet Of Jesus” from the Songs Of My Heart album. Each week we will worship, study Scripture (NKJV), reflect, and respond by laying everything down before the Lord — just as the song declares.
Core Message: True peace, freedom, and transformation come when we stop striving and lay down all our fears, shame, pride, pain, heart, soul, and mind at the feet of Jesus. That’s where we want to be found — now and when the King returns.
Why This Study Matters
• It connects directly to the themes running through the Songs Of My Heart series: surrender, the cross, revival (“Latter Rain”), and readiness for the coming King.
• It is designed for multi-generational families, worship teams, small groups, and personal devotion.
• You will grow in intimacy with Jesus while learning practical ways to live a surrendered life every day.
What to Expect Each Week
• Focused teaching from Scripture
• Song-centered worship and reflection
• Honest discussion and application questions
• Powerful prayer and response times (including physical postures of surrender)
• Daily devotionals to keep you at His feet between sessions
Memory Verse for the Course (NKJV) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)
A Prayer to Begin the Journey Lord Jesus, We come to Your feet today as we start this study. Quiet our hearts, open our ears, and soften our spirits. We want to lay everything down and learn from You. Have Your way in us over these next four weeks. Draw us closer to You than ever before. In Your holy name we pray, Amen.
